With Producer Vic working remotely from Ohio, DaddyRah in the house, and a full chat room, the girls actually have a smooth show, not blowing anything up. The Rewind covers the girls’ past week, Denise going to see her cousin’s band Simon/Simon at a local hang out, and Donna going to see “Despicable Me”. Denise announces her plans for the future. Lesbian Lounge - June 23, 2010

Date 2010-06-27

The Lounge gets back on the music track, with guest Toni Vere, a lesbian musician from Calgary who calls in to announce some big news: she was selected to be the Grand Marshall in the Calgary Pride Parade this September. Producer Vic plays some of Toni’s songs. Later, the buzz surrounding “Sugarbeach” get explored when the two hotties themselves call in and discuss all the things they have going on. Great sound and awesome personalities make this duo a “must have” on your iPods. The Bar Tab features a Cool Website of the Week recommended by our very own loyal listener, Mike Jones from Oz- www.switchboard.org.au is a helpful resource for the Victoria and Tasmania GLBT communities with skilled volunteers to assist with health, questions, issues and guidance. The Cool Places to Hang span from the local to the international. Babes, in Richmond, VA is a long time fave of the lezzies with live music, some country, some rock, great food and a great location on Carey Street. Over in London, the Marie Lloyd is a femmy, upscale pub for the ladies with an extensive bar and food menu from breakfast to late night. The Drink of the Week is more of a recommendation- B&B Brandy, infused with French spices- this after dinner drink or night cap is a smooth and tasty way to end the evening on a high point. The Fat Ass food gets discussed, and TV Talk finally gets covered from True Blood to the fiasco that is The Real L Word, as the ladies rip that to shreds. The chat room is ramped up with opinions. The girls gear up for Key West, discussing a little of what’s in store for Womenfest 2010 in September (7-12). Save up now, and meet us at Southernmost Hotel! You don’t want to miss this party!
