Later, long time friend of The Lesbian Lounge, Jamisin Lee, one of Lori Michael’s dancers and tireless mental health charity advocate, calls in to tell us about a new documentary called “No Kidding, Me Too” from actor by Joe Panteliano which is being screened at Bergen County Community College in Paramus NJ on March 31st. Also, a surprise phone pass-off to Lori Michaels, who tells us some very special news about Jamisin Lee. The show wraps with some upcoming events in the area and Single Sentence Relationship Advice from Jemma. Special guest Michelle Clunie (“Queer as Folk”) calls in to talk about her passion for social activism and human rights. A very intense, political, and fun conversation that touches on our government, health care reform, gay rights and a new venture to help children with HIV/AIDS. Musical Dyke Diva, Lori Michaels, calls in to talk up South Florida Pride, coming up March 13-14 at Jaco Pastorius Park in Fort Lauderdale, where she’ll be headlining all weekend, and drops a teaser about a big announcement. Later, the Bar Tab covers tasty Drink of the Week “Black Cherry Blast”, as well as Place to Hang Club Pink in Detroit, Michigan.
