Also discussed is her Walk to Raise Awareness this October with OutOfTheDarkness.Org to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Details on the Lavender Events Backpack Drive, Denise’s courthouse adventure to get papers for the wedding, Cubby’s adjusting to roommate and intern status, and Producer Vic being back get covered. One of the headliners for Womenfest, and friend of show, Lori Michaels, the Dyke Diva, calls in to give her schedule for Key West, talks up the here!tv show that’s airing right now, filmed two years ago at Womenfest, and also gives a little update (or “dances” around the update..!) on her very public relationship with New Jersey Housewife Danielle Staub. The girls run down a strictly Key West Bar Tab and feature the Cool Place to Hang- legendary hot spot on the island- AQUA Nightclub, (www.aquakeywest.com ) where Lori is performing and the girls are doing a live talk show with Suzanne Westenhoefer and Emily Saliers at 4pm on Thursday the 9th. The girls review their trip up to Cocoa Beach for The Living Room of Brevard’s fundraiser at Ultra Lounge benefitting Space Coast Pride. Always a good time, the girls take it one step further and discuss a late night hook up at IHOP with some friends they made at the event. TFLN, Facebook and “Shit My Dad Says” favorites are announced. Donna discusses the annual Stars of the Rainbow event, held locally to honor the GLBT do-good’ers. Special guest Michelle Clunie (“Queer as Folk”) calls in to talk about her passion for social activism and human rights. A very intense, political, and fun conversation that touches on our government, health care reform, gay rights and a new venture to help children with HIV/AIDS. Musical Dyke Diva, Lori Michaels, calls in to talk up South Florida Pride, coming up March 13-14 at Jaco Pastorius Park in Fort Lauderdale, where she’ll be headlining all weekend, and drops a teaser about a big announcement. Later, the Bar Tab covers tasty Drink of the Week “Black Cherry Blast”, as well as Place to Hang Club Pink in Detroit, Michigan.
